Camping in the woods is always special to me. Add an ocean, stars and sounds of whales to it, it becomes even more spectacular. It’s hard to capture the true joy of my heart in this two dimensional picture, but this was one of the best experiences I have had in a while. Looking at the stars and the universe is such an humbling and character building experience. As Carl Sagan eloquently puts it,
“The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff.”
We are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically and to the rest of the universe atomically. So, stop being a dick and be nice to fellow humans and other beings.
